Bolton are struggling to score

Nicklas Bendtner´s goal won it for Arsenal last weekend
Losing in the final few minutes against Arsenal last week was a bit of a blow and meant we recorded our third defeat in a row.

It was particularly disappointing because we came so close to getting a point. We had a game plan, we stuck to it and it was working. We knew we´d have to defend hard because that´s what you expect against Arsenal at the Emirates. They had a lot of possession but I felt we were doing a really good job. There was always the chance of catching them on the break and with about 10 minutes to go I really felt we´d done enough. They were piling the pressure on but we were keeping our shape and all the lads were throwing their bodies on the line. But then Robin van Persie got behind us, put in a cross and Nicklas Bendtner finished it.

You have to say that Arsenal play football the way it should be played and they always have the quality to kill you in an instant. We pushed them really close and we can take some positives from that.

Our cause hasn´t been helped by the fact that we´ve struggled to score recently. That just seems to be one of those things. It´s not that long ago that we couldn´t stop scoring and obviously that always gives you a chance. I don´t think you can look at any individuals and it´s not like any single player should bear the responsibility of getting the goals. We all shoulder that burden and it´s down to all of us to get the goals flowing again.

I´ll be back a bit later on today with a look ahead to Saturday´s game against Man United.
