Upload main image here: ![]() We´re hoping to get a win at the Emirates this weekend ![]() ![]() | Denilson was in training with us this week and you can see that he still has a lot to offer. He has great vision and a fantastic touch and still has his trademark step-over. I don´t know what´s going to happen with him but it´s interesting having a player like that around the place. Everyone remembers he was once the world´s most expensive footballer and it sparks interest among the supporters, which is good. We´ll see what happens, but it was definitely good to see him train. It was a disappointment to go out of the FA Cup 2-1 to Sunderland. It wasn´t a great game and I don´t think either side really got into a decent rhythm. You always hope you can get a bit of a run going in the cup, it´s good for the fans and if you get a couple of wins under your belt you never know how far you can go. Portsmouth and Cardiff showed that last year. The fact is though, we can concentrate on the league and if we push on over the next couple of months we can put pressure on those top seven places. It´s so tight that you can shoot up the league or slip down really easily. We go to Arsenal at the weekend having lost the last five games against the Gunners. We lost 3-1 at home earlier in the season and they played really well. They started off very lively and we were never able to catch up. But there´s no doubt we´ll go there looking for a result and if we can keep our concentration I really believe we can get something from the game. You have to believe in yourselves in these games and if you can win the mental battle you can win the physical one. Obviously Arsenal have great players but we´re a good side too. You have to disrupt teams like Arsenal and stop them moving the ball around at pace. We´ll need to keep tight to them and take any chances we can create. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
